Day 0: Arrival
Arrive in Golden, meet the crew, and get navigation dialed. We’ll walk through the route plan, expectations, and options so you start confident.
Day 1: Golden - buena vista
We head into the mountains and start stacking the kind of miles that remind you why you ride. Expect scenic dirt, early pass energy, and plenty of stops to soak it in.
Day 2: buena vista - lake city
A high-country day with big views and classic Colorado dirt. Options available depending on conditions and group energy.
Day 3: lake city - cimmaron
This is where Colorado starts feeling remote in the best way—alpine terrain, historic stops, and that “we’re really out here” feeling.
Day 4: cimmaron - nathrop
A varied day that blends flowy dirt with scenery you’ll want to stop for every five minutes. And yes—this is where the off-bike comfort really starts to shine.
Day 5: nathrop - golden
Strong finish day—scenic, satisfying, and the kind of ride that leaves you tired and proud (and already checking your calendar for the next one).

The Rocky Tops Tour is rated Advanced on the terrain rating system. This tour is 80% dirt. We do not recommend this as a beginner or Intermediate ride. We strongly encourage you take a look at the self assessment to determine if the Adventure Motorcycle Tour in Colorado is right tour for you prior to booking your spot on the ride.
Our tours are priced based on a minimum of six riders. If fewer than six are registered, the tour can still run with a 15% per-rider adjustment.
We do everything in our power to make sure the ride goes on. When you commit to an adventure with us, we’re committed to making it happen.

Our tours are priced with a minimum group size of 6 riders. If we end up with fewer riders, pricing may be adjusted so the ride can still go forward. We’ll always communicate any changes clearly, and our priority is to keep your adventure on schedule.
