CO BDR Tour Itinerary
Day 0: Arrival
Arrive, meet the group, and get navigation dialed. We’ll walk through the route plan, weather outlook, and options before wheels roll.
Day 1: Berthoud - Steamboat
We ease into the BDR with rideable terrain and big scenery. This day is about settling into pace, altitude, and group flow.
Day 2: Steamboat - gypsum
A full day of Colorado backcountry: mountain passes, alpine views, and optional challenges depending on conditions.
Day 3: gypsum - buena vista
Remote dirt roads and classic BDR terrain link together some of the most rewarding riding of the trip.
Steady pace, great flow.
Day 4: buena vista - lake city
Terrain and scenery shift today, mixing dirt, backcountry connectors, and occasional pavement to keep things flowing. This is a mentally refreshing day that still delivers great riding and views.
It’s also a chance to adjust the plan based on conditions and group energy.
Day 5: lake city - ridgeway
One of the most rewarding days of the tour. More classic BDR terrain, sweeping views, and the satisfaction of stacking big miles with confidence.
Optional lines are available when conditions allow — always optional, never required.
Day 6: ridgeway - nathrop
Ride through the “Alps of Colorado” and soak in all the scenery.
Day 7: nathrop - berthoud
We wrap up the riding portion of the Colorado BDR with a strong finish. This day brings everything together: scenery, flow, and that quiet pride that comes from doing something challenging the right way.
Tired smiles guaranteed.
