Built for Riders Like You

Waypoints West Utah Highlands is a great fit if:

  • You want a tour that mixes iconic pavement with rideable dirt

  • You love big views and high-country riding, but don’t want to ride alone

  • You want navigation handled, regroup points planned, and a smart daily flow

  • You prefer hotels and real recovery over camping

This is not the best fit if:

  • You only want technical dirt all day

  • You only want pavement and zero backcountry

If you’re not sure, we’ll talk it through. That’s what we do.

Utah Highlands is built for riders who love variety: dramatic alpine views, sweeping canyon curves, and backcountry roads that feel a long way from everything (in the best possible way). We’ll climb from lower valleys into high-mountain country above 10,000 feet, linking iconic paved rides with remote forest roads across the Wasatch and Uinta ranges.

utah highlands Tour Itinerary

Day 0: Arrival

Arrive, get settled, meet the crew, and get navigation dialed. We’ll walk through the plan, conditions, and options so you start confident. Arrival night lodging is included.

Day 1: Sandy - Mt. pleasant

We kick off with the kind of riding that sets the tone: great pavement, great scenery, and the first taste of high-country backcountry roads. Plenty of regroup points, plenty of time to enjoy it.

Day 2: mt. pleasant - heber city

Today brings more alpine terrain and remote stretches that feel surprisingly wild for how close you are to civilization. Expect a satisfying mix of smooth flow and scenic stops.

Day 3: heber city - evanston

A big variety day: mountain twisties, scenic connectors, and backcountry segments that remind you why ADV bikes exist. We keep the day moving, never rushed.

Day 4: Evanston - bear lake

Wide views and classic “get lost on purpose” terrain — with the route already figured out for you. This is one of those days where the scenery keeps changing and you don’t want it to end.

Day 5: Bear lake to sandy

Strong finish day with the best kind of mix: final scenic pavement, backcountry stretches, and that end-of-tour satisfaction where everyone’s a better rider than when they started.
