This multi-day ADV tour combines slickrock riding, scenic dirt roads, and hotel-based lodging for riders who want to experience Moab without planning routes or riding solo.

Moab Tour Itinerary
Day 0: Arrival
Arrive in Grand Junction, CO and settle in before the pre-trip dinner. Arrival night lodging is included.
Day 1: Grand Junction, CO - Moab, UT
We begin by riding a section of the Kokopelli Trail, starting in Rabbit Valley and heading toward Cisco. Riders can choose between intermediate or advanced track options depending on comfort level. From there, we climb to nearly 8,000 feet on Polar Mesa before descending into Moab via the fun, flowing Onion Creek Road, where we cross the creek 28 times in just 10 miles.
Day 2: Choose your route
Today is all about flexibility. We stay local in Moab, giving riders the option to take a rest day or choose from several ride options ranging from basic to advanced terrain. Popular routes include Shafer Trail to Gemini Bridges, Hurrah Pass, or a more pavement-focused option on the scenic La Sal Loop Road.
Day 3: Moab, UT to 3 Step Hideaway
We start the day with a scenic loop through Sand Flats Road, climbing over Geyser Pass and La Sal Pass before turning onto the iconic Rim Rocker Trail. The day wraps up with a relaxing evening at 3 Step Hideaway, a perfect place to unwind after a full day in the saddle.
Day 4: 3 Step Hideaway to Grand Junction, CO
Our final day begins with a winding stretch of pavement paired with epic scenery before dropping into a lesser-known canyon along the Dolores River. We connect to Highway 141, riding through the spectacular canyon toward Gateway while continuing to follow the river. The tour concludes with a final run through Unaweep Canyon back to Grand Junction.

The Moab Discovery Tour is rated Intermediate on the terrain rating system. This tour is 80% dirt. We do not recommend this as a beginner or novice ride with the ruts, sand & rocks. We strongly encourage you take a look at the self assessment to determine if the Adventure Motorcycle Tour in Moab, UT is right tour for you prior to booking your spot on the ride.
Our tours are priced based on a minimum of six riders. If fewer than six are registered, the tour can still run with a 15% per-rider adjustment.
